We are going to China on a Golfing Vacation!
And we would like for you to join us. We are looking for 20 people that would like to play some of the finest courses in the world. Our trip will be arranged and guided by an American Citizen. He has spent the last 7 years in China arranging and guiding educational and cultural tours.
We will be leaving on April 4th and will return on April 14th.
Guangzhou Touring:
Guangzhou (formerly known as Canton) is a city of 10 million with a surrounding population of 25 million. It is at the apex of the Pearl River Delta and is one of the first areas to develop in modern China's economic march. Guangzhou is also blessed with a large number of first-class golf courses in its vicinity.
Guangzhou has a rich history from the times of the Opium Wars to the movement that overthrew the Qing Dynasty under Sun Yat Sen. We will be visiting the Guangzhou history museum, Sun Yat Sen Memorial, and the Tombs of the Southern Kings.
Guangzhou also has good shopping at places like the Yide Market, the Pearl Market, and souvenir markets.
Golfing
The Nansha Harbor Club has two courses, the Mountain and the Valley Course. Both are great challenges of golf in a scenic setting.
Mission Hills: 216 holes in this complex make it the largest in the world. We will be playing the Greg Norman and Jose Marie Olazabal Courses. For more information on Mission Hills, click here.
Peach Garden Golf Course: One of the most beautiful golf courses in Southern China, Peach Garden offers a challenging, yet enjoyable golf experience.
Beijing Extension
Beijing is the place to go for touring and the rich history of the Ming and Qing Dynasties (the last two imperial dynasties in China). From the Great Wall to the Forbidden City, Beijing is a spot you cannot afford to miss. Also, it has the best tourist shopping in China.
As we talked about, golf is scheduled for 18 holes; golfers can play another 9 or 18 holes for a surcharge. We can find out how many holes they want to play beforehand and charge accordingly.
Package price includes:
- International Airfare
- Accommodations (4 or 5 Star): Double Occupancy
- Group Meals
- Group Transportation
- Scheduled Entrance Fees
- Scheduled Golf Green Fees
- China Visa
Extra Expenses: Personal Shopping (Bring Debit Card for getting RMB cash and credit card for larger purchases) and tips (hotel bellboys and golf caddies).
If non-golfers want to come, the pricing is the same, but we will arrange shopping trip to Hong Kong if enough people come.
